I was so impressed by your last post, but it's so daunting that we don't think we can make a difference. It's clear that we can. I'm passing the video around and spreading the word. Love you. Playtime soon.ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyAnonymous8:34 PMJust so nobody wonders my husband did not make the movie but posted it on his blog. It is a very powerful movie and he would have loved to make it but cannot take the credit.ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyAnonymous11:25 AMThank you for sharing this. The Girl Effect is something that I and many others have believed for a very long time...freedom, education, initiative and hard work can go a long way. These values can and should be nurtured here and abroad. My grandparents came from Ireland and worked in a wealthy family's household. My father was encouraged to work hard and get an education, and became a successful businessman. He encouraged me and I became a physician. My wife and I are passing these values to our daughter and son and I hope they will succeed.Generational poverty is an unnecessary phenomenon created by the idea that one cannot succeed on their own.ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyAdd commentLoad more...
